updates
hello, after the core group meeting, we made several changes and updated certain stuff.
firstly, our 3 year vision. at the end of 3 yrs, we should have leaders rising up to take charge of the cg and hold key roles to run the cg. all of us will know our spiritual gifts and able to find a ministry to serve God. and most importantly, we will be able to have passion for evangelism.
certain changes within the core group
1) cheryl will be in charge of welfare, which means that she’ll be the one who will remind us who the birthday kiddies are and find someone to get something suitable for them. apart from that, she’ll be the one who will receive and relay sms from everyone regarding prayer or any other needs.
2) sarah will be the mission girl, liasing with pastor alvin and our soon to be adopted missionary, the mosby family. she’ll update us on our missionary and compile prayer request from them as well as planning how and when to give them financial support.
3) Justin, the guy who will get someone to plan game at the start of the cg if not we’ll be stuck with the block chig bang bang game forever. he’ll also be assisting derric to do outreach/social events.

5) Lum, everyone will be quite scared of his sms because he will approach u to ask if u can open up ur house or to lead worship. please be nice to him and if u think that u won’t feel bad rejecting him a few times in a row, u should. to make his job simpler, always volunteer to open up ur house or lead worship like one week before so he can slot u in ya. apart from all that, he will also be updating our blog every thursday night so that u can check the announcements and verify the cg meeting place for the week. so ya, as u can see, he is doing alot of things, be nice!!
announcements
1) captain’s ball outreach is coming up, the speaker will be really good so for all those who are lazy or dun feel that u are zai enough to share the gospel to ur friends, invite them down so that they can have fun and most importantly get to know God. do continue to pray for hearts and for the event (weather and safety). registration ends on wed, 10th sep so HURRY!!
2) next core group meeting wil be on the 9th Nov.
3) this sat at 2pm, some of us will be heading down to calvary baptist church for a seminar by jerry bridges. for those who are still interested to sign up, kindly sms me asap so i can TRY to pull some strings if possible. cg will start at 730pm cuz i think there might be delays here and there.
that’ll be all for now. lets be excited for next week cg cuz it’ll be another fun time fellowshipping together. for those who miss out on our bishan park outing today after service, too bad for u. we had free foot massages for so long that our sole went numb. so get ready for more action and fun. see u next week!
