updates from savannah

hey guys! 

firstly. to answer some of your comments from my previous post…cheetahs are probably in the zoo too and yes they do run faster than the lions. This is for a fact that i got off animal planet. the reason being is their anatomy being more streamlined and they have a lighter body mass as well as a long tail which they use to balance themselves, thus allowing them to make sharp turns.

anyhows…even if i can get a cheetah here…i can’t bring it back. AVA will stop me and send me to jail :( and i’m sure you guys dun want that to happen rrrriiiggghhhttt??? i mean..after all…your guys love me right????

i’m doing great and i have settled in really nice and well and got a good bunch of friends as well. they’re mostly christian and are my neighbours and classmates and we go to bible study on thursday nights and church on sundays. Transport to church hasn’t been a problem cos the church provides transport and the people there are just amazingly nice. this is something we all have to learn!! they are so friendly and they don’t hesitate to approach and introduce themselves and welcome us :) so it felt really really good cos they were like genuinely happy to see us :D or so i would like to believe. hahaha

it’s a good time of fellowship where we head down to this christian elementary school for bible study and the leader cooks home cooked food for us..it’s super delicious and we settle for a time of fellowship over dinner and then we have bible study after which it’s free time for all and there’s like air hockey, guitar hero, rockband, a wii and stuff like that over there for us to hang out and wonderful cushions to sleep on :) we’re gonna have a bonfire camping thing party this sat so i;m uber excited :)

i;m swamped with work but at the same time, i’m gaining so much satisfaction from it and yes. this is what SHAPE is all about ;p i don’t mind posting my works up online but now all my stuff are getting marked so i dun have a picture of it or anything. yeppers. 

weather here is great. it just suddenly turned cold one day. like the previous day it was singapore hot or hotter and the next day it was like…aircon :S so it’s been pretty chilly and i;m wearing my thick thick jacket. hahaha. see…you guys should come and escape the hot and humidity of singapore and come visit me for cg outings :D

miss you guys loads loads loads. and i mean it. i stare at our cg picture all day long whenever i’m free. it makes me want to cry but it makes me beam with pride too :D

  2. woo.. u know how grace always send long long e mail once in a while when she came overseas to study ? you’re showing the same trends! haha goes to shows goes to show going overses develops this habit! wwhaha.. whatever..

    anw , glad you’re having a great time there, able to find fellowship and all quickly , God is good and he provides once again.. amen? =)

    wha.. wii plus rockband plus huitar hero plus MY FAVORITE AIRHOCKGEY all in the same place quite the overkill but sounds fun. going over for cg outings suddenly sounds so much more feasible, just a 8 hour flight? no …..big…deal…. .haha bleah =P

    and its even happier to know you’re happy doing what ya doing! we rarely have the previledge to do that now =) you do what u do best = )
