FIRSTLY…WELCOME BACK TO ZIYAN!!!!!!

CG time has been going great by far and things really has improved ever since we shifted out of YF. Although it ain’t the same as before, with smaller worship, no wonderful music with surround sound and sermon, God has been faithful and I do believe that all of us are learning and growing tremendously by serving God through all these little avenues of leading in discussion and worship

Good job to cheryl and mingtuan for the time of worship Even if there were hiccups here and there, they stil pulled through in leading the cell in worship. Plus. just as how all american sport themed movies always say “IT’S ALL HEART!”, so is worship. even when the music fades away and we are banished to hide in people’s houses to worship, God is still present in our midst because we yearn to seek Him

Well done also to derric who led us in a time of discussion, albiet quite confusing cos of his messy thoughts, but we still had a good and authentic time of discussion where we shared about past hurts and issues among one another which left the guys with heavy hearts. It’s a big step people! let’s continue to grow in deeper relationships and sharing with one another

ANNOUNCEMENTS for the week:

1. next week’s cell group will be held at chrystal’s place. person leading discussion will be sarah, on fellowship.
2. we will meet 3pm @ LHK again this saturday to prepare lovegifts of encouragements for the sec 4 and JC 2 kiddos at TM412.
3. Please remember to bring money to pay Marcus Goh for cg funds. OTHERWISE WE ARE GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING ELSE FOR THE YEAR.
4. There is Tertiary Fellowship this friday @ 7pm @ LHK 3 Hall. Dinner is provided at a measly sum of $2. Do come for a time of fellowship
5. Derric and Marcus, Don’t forget that you volunteered to be welcomers this friday for TF. do be at TF by 6.30pm.
6. Core group meeting (kelvin, liz, sarah, cheryl, lum, derric, justin and glory) will be held on 13th July. please mark your calendars!

Prayer items:

1. Praise God that Sarah and family found out about the tumour in her grandfather early. It is in it’s early stages and thus, he does not need to go for chemotherapy. Pray for him as he goes through surgery on the 30th of June to remove the tumour.

Welcome to the newly set up site of Kelvin and Liz Chay’s cell group A brand new blog for a brand new start to new systems and structures

Our first session of the proper cell group was awesome and definitely a refreshing change. a new step to independence! BRAVO to daniel lum for leading us in a time of worship and discussion time was great where we had an equal mix of serious discussion as well as a dose of fun injected by the meow men (cat high boys)

cheers to everyone for what God has ahead of us. Don’t forget to invite the MIAs and your friends down to join us for 40 days of community!!

• Reading of 40 days of community should start on the 9th of June 2008, Monday
• 1st session of 40 days to be led by daniel lum

• those without books to inform kelvin to get for them
• those who have already ordered their books but have yet to collect, pls collect from Gloria at LHK 3 office between Tues to Fridays during office hours (9am – 6pm). Pls inform and arrange with her beforehand.
